The Raising of Arborion: Walls & Loft Joists

Arborion is finally taking shape in three dimensions. Here are some pictures of my Dad and I raising the main walls, dormer walls and setting the loft joists in place.

Next, we attach the loft joists to tie in the walls and add stability.

Dormer walls are carefully lifted into place and secured.

Walls are up, next comes the roof...

Walls are up, next comes the fancy gable cantilevers

At the gable ends of Arborion I have planned for a one foot cantilever. This will give me more storage space in the lofts and will add a special touch the the design.

Everything is now in place to begin the roof framing.

  1. Arborion is looking good! It is going up fast!

    • Thanks Linda. It is really moving along as a weekend project. A couple vacations days help to keep things on track as well. How’s your tiny home coming along?

  2. Daniel

Looking amazing! Can’t wait to see your progress in person soon…

  3. And I’m looking forward to seeing you at the end of this month brother.
